Ever since childhood, I have hated math. It's so confusing! I have always thought, "I am going to be a social worker, so why does that matter?" I am really not trying to offend any math teachers, so I apologize if I did. I had such a bad math teacher last year that I had to switch into another teacher's class! It was so embarrassing, as my school rarely lets students switch.
I've never been fond of math either... keep your chin up

Maybe you just haven't had it explained in an engaging manner. Math can be fun and useful, but in the wrong hands boring, confusing and unbearable. I hated algebra, but loved geometry. Sometimes you just have to find the component of math that appeals to you. Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteI like math when I can do it, if that makes sense! Nice to meet and connect through atozchallenge. http://aimingforapublishingdeal.blogspot.co.uk/
ReplyDeleteYou need math in almost everything you do. I use it with my knitting and crocheting, you need it to balance the family budget, you need it present a budget for your department at work, you need it to figure out how much paint to buy and or wallpaper to buy, you need it to determine how much mulch to buy for your flower beds. I do agree though........I had some pretty lousy math teachers and that can be a hard hurdle to over come, but one must work to over come it .......because it is essential to almost everything you do.
