Follow Friday- Featured Blog!!!!!

Q: Activity! Who do you want to be? If you could choose any character from a book. What do you think that character looks like and what do you have in common?

A: I'd love to be Anna Fitzgerald from My Sister's Keeper! As weird as I might be sounding right now, this is one of my favorite books. I think Anna has dark hair and blue eyes. She is a brave person for standing up for what she believes in. Like Anna, I've had multiple surgeries. I had cancer, and in February 2012, I had 3 surgeries for  it.

  1. She is a great choice - what a hard thing to do. And you, how scary to have three surgeries in one month. I hope you're feeling better ! :)

  9. I've only seen the film version of My Sister's Keeper, and, since I'm not a fan of "cancer stories", I didn't get around to the book. It's great that you can identify with her so much, though.

  12. Wow! This is an interesting choice. There are so many brave fictional characters, but this is realistic bravery, especially in your case.
