L is for..

L is for lice. I had head lice twice- fourth grade and sixth grade. The first time was awful because the lice were actually alive. My parents put mayonnaise and olive oil in my hair, and now I will never eat those two foods again!! The second time there were just eggs, and we got them right out. The whole school was infested that time.

    I felt bad for a boy who got lice once, and it is not as big of a deal as people make it out to be. Kids should not be teased for this happening, which is what I noticed happened at the time. There are treatments for it, and people need to relax.

    I hated when I had lice... It was just a creepy feeling knowing they were crawling around in your head and reproducing there.... Gross.
